The homebuilding process consists of the following steps:

• Meet Velocity
  One of our quality team members will show you the different home packages available and explain the construction process. Once the style of home has been selected, the project begins and soon you will be joining our great community.
  
  
• Selections process
  Come in and see what features are right for your style of home. We have a variety of standard feature options for you to choose from including shingles, siding, soffit/fascia, windows, stone, raised panel cabinets, etc.
  
  
• Pre-construction meeting
  One of our very qualified superintendents, who oversee the construction quality, will meet with you and discuss any adjustments specific to your house plan. You can verify optional features and finalize before actual construction begins.
  
  
• Construction
  This is where your house comes to life; beginning with the foundation, framing, roofing, all the way until the cabinets are put in and final touches are done. The selections you made previously will make your house unique and reflect your personal lifestyle.
  
  
• Final Quality Inspection
  Final inspections are performed to make sure the home is ready to move into. We will show you each area of your home and go through the procedures with you to maintaining a nice home. We will also explain to you your Customer Service Plan.
  
  
• 3-month check-up
  Velocity Homes will contact you by letter, phone, or a visit to ensure your satisfaction with your home purchase. Since we are located close-by, we can easily provide the service you need without the hassle of a long waiting period.
  
  
• 1-year follow-up
  Velocity Homes will perform a final follow-up with you -the homeowner- to discuss any questions you might have and to get your opinion on how we can better serve the client during the building process and help Build Communities Better.
